Canscoot Events

We have a one main regular monthly event as shown on the left. We meet for a coffee and then go for a group run on the last sunday of each month.

Sometimes there are extra events such as rally's or additional rides. This page is the place to keep up to date with all that is happening !!

Rally Update from Mack
Many thanks to all those who have registered already, numbers are growing daily.

We have extended the registration period for an additional week after having spoken to the caterers. The last day for registration is now Friday 27th January.

The patches are printed and looking pretty smart!

Reference accommodation : Spring Creek Motel still has rooms available, I believe the Junction Hotel still has 3 rooms available and free camping is still an option (facilities however are very basic).

Fuel is not available at the Spring Creek service station over the holiday weekend, fuel is available at Shell garages in Picton and Blenheim.

Well, here is your chance to join your heroes and complete your dream. It’s your chance to man-up and show us what your made of. Sugar and spice and all things nice or Snips and snails, and puppy dogs tails.
Announcing the 2012 Canscoot “ Mates Coast to Coast” – the longest day.

The actual date is still TBA, however keep it in mind that you'll need to join your Canscoot mates , grab your poweraide ( or Gin ) linament , a cushion and dose of concrete pills ( to harden up ) and get ready for a single day 593 km scoot marathon. We’re scooting from Christchurch to Greymouth over the Lewis Pass and returning to Christchurch via Arthurs pass, and home in time for a cup of tea and a nap.

When your grandchildren sit on your knee and ask what you did when you were young (well, youngish!) you can tell them you competed in the Coast to Coast – the longest day ! You can even show them the T-shirt.
